Roses And The Spiritual Connection
Roses also have a spiritual connection and meaning. And in many cases works as a symbol to let you know that your prayers have been answered. My daughter asked me to pray with her for something special to happen in her life. As we went walking together one day on a track; we prayed the Saint Theresa prayer together. When we went to church the next Sunday she pointed out to me the many red roses that were presented to the altar by about 20-30 children; where each of them were carrying red roses. I was amazed as was she.
Here is an excerpt from the St. Theresa prayer;
“St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me with a message of love; ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore and tell Him I will love Him each day more and more. Amen.”
Now can you see why my daughter and I were amazed? The Red roses symbolized that my daughter’s prayer was heard and that it would be answered. Was her prayer ever answered? “Yes” about 2 months later her prayer was answered.
